Michelle Van Every Tubbs
Michelle is the publisher, executive editor, concept creator,
creative director and senior graphic designer of Alabama Weddings
Magazine. Growing up in Atlanta, Georgia, Michelle graduated Cum
Laude from Brenau University Women’s College in Gainesville, Georgia
with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design. She now
officially calls herself an Alabamian since living in Alabama for
more than 15 years. Michelle’s years of experience in business
publication and fields of marketing led to the founding of
PRO-Motion Publishing, Inc. in 1998.
In 2001, Michelle began Alabama Weddings Magazine and has grown it
to become one of the most respected, well-received bridal magazines
in the Southeast. In 2009 Michelle received the highly coveted Apex
Award in Print, and continually strives to make Alabama Weddings
Magazine more beautiful and innovative with each passing year.
Having recently embraced the opportunities that the Web offers,
Michelle looks forward to expanding her magazine's concept still
further by offering advertisers, fans, and readers a continually
updated Website, with how-to videos, fresh, timely articles, and
more.

Tracy Jennison-Cotter
Tracy is the managing editor and wordsmith behind both Alabama
Wedding Magazine and its online content. Having worked alongside
Michelle Tubbs since the magazine’s inception, Tracy plays a key
role in the magazine’s editorial direction and is continually
helping the magazine meet the needs of both its brides and its
advertisers.
Tracy’s writing experience extends across of wide
spectrum of genres. Her articles have been featured in magazines
such as National Geographic Kids, Atlanta Baby, Parentlife, QSR
Magazine, Listen, Ladies Home Journal, and others. She has won
awards for her short stories, has been published in several literary
magazines, and had her short story, “I Do Not Close My Eyes”
published in the Best New Writers of 1995 anthology. She was a 2009
Apex Award Winner in Print, and currently has a novel under
consideration by Random House Publishing.
In addition to working with Michelle and Alabama Weddings
Magazine, Tracy creates Web content, marketing strategies,
newsletters, white papers and case studies, working as a freelance
B2B and B2C copywriter in her spare time. Her second novel is due to
be completed this year, as well as the ALABAMA WEDDINGS MAGAZINE
COLLECTION, an Ebook soon available for purchase on this Website.
