The Proposal:
Kandace worked as a nurse at St. Vincent’s East when she first met Michael, introduced by his aunt. As Kandace left her shift, Michael joined her, and the two stood in the hospital parking lot for five hours, talking the entire time. The connection was immediate, and both felt that God had His hand upon them, guiding their lives together. Two months later, Michael invited Kandace to dinner at his home, where Kandace found lit candles and flowers everywhere. She was given a note, which led to many others, until she found herself in front of the stereo system. When she turned it on, a love song began playing, and Kandace turned around to find Michael down on one knee, ready to ask her to be his wife.
