Perfect Wedding Guide & Engaged will be hosting Bridal Market, A Runway Event on January 8, 2012 at Rosewood Hall in Downtown Homewood from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm.

Bridal Market is a fresh but familiar approach to the wedding planning process.  Adorned with an Engaged reusable shopping tote, brides will be encouraged to “SHOP” for their wedding professionals…a four-letter word that every girl is familiar with!

This year at Bridal Market, brides will be able to catch a glimpse of the hottest trends in wedding fashion with an on-going, New York-style fashion show production.  Fashion sponsors are Ivory and White, Bella Couture, and The Something Blue Shoppe.  On top of that, brides can meet with more than 60 of Birmingham’s elite wedding professionals and participate in a chance to win thousands of dollars in giveaways.  The grand prize for this year will be a $1,000 gift certificate to Diamonds Direct to be used towards the purchase of wedding bands.

With everything from cakes to getaway cars, brides will have the opportunity to plan their entire event at Bridal Market.  Brides can pre-register at TheBridalMarket.com for their Engaged shopping tote and to receive $5 off tickets.  They can also pick up a copy of Perfect Wedding Guide for 1 FREE ticket!  Tickets will be $15 at the door.

Must be a Sign

Posted by: Tj Cotter on Friday, October 28, 2011 Comments (0)

There Are Signs Everywhere!

I’m all about signs these days, both figurative and literal.

So I’ll be introducing some pretty cool ideas that I’ve seen for using signs

in your wedding and reception décor

and for wedding momentos.

I’ll post a new one each day here until I get bored

and will then move on to something else--

like shoes...which are never—EVER boring! Lol

Hope you enjoy and find some inspiration along the way!

SIGN IDEA # 1

NUMBER ART

Use the dates of the most significant moments of your relationship as well art: day you met, day he proposed, day you married, etc.

This also makes a great Save-The-Date postacard idea!

Here's the link to the original website, which shows you how to create your own work of art, or how to order one if you don't have time:

The Bride's Handbag

Posted by: Tj Cotter on Monday, September 19, 2011 Comments (0)

The Bridal Handbag

You spend months looking for the perfect dress. Then comes shoes, and finally the veil.

But what about your handbag?

Oftentimes this little accessory gets overlooked. And yet, this little pouch is must-have, should you need a dab of lip gloss, a little powder for that shine, or your cell phone during the reception.

You could turn to a local bridal shop in search for one. But for today, I also want to showcase another option:

Etsy.com

Check out the following link for some of the cutest bridal bags out there. I know you'll be pleased!
